European Circular Economy Hotspot Dublin 2023

We were thrilled to attend the European Circular Economy Hotspot in Dublin, organised by the Rediscovery Centre, Dublin City Council, Circulére, the Eastern Waste Management Office and the Dept of the Environment.

Linda took part in a workshop on creating a circular closet and sat on a panel with Trevor Anderson of Oxfam Ireland and Martina Hourigan of Roscommon Women’s Network discussing maximising the value of post-consumer textiles, through sorting, reuse and repair.

We were proud to represent CRI and talk about the Charity Retail Impact Report and the CRNI Circular Textiles project. The event was sold out, but we gathered as much information as possible to share with you.

We are delighted to share a recording of the Citizen Engagement panel at the European Circular Economy Hotspot Dublin 2023.

The expert panelists include Iain Guilland, CEO of Zero Waste Scotland, Professor Anna Davies of Trinity College Dublin, Joshua Newton of the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, and Freek van Eijk, CEO of Holland Circular Hotspot.

With a shared wealth of knowledge and experience in community engagement, this insightful session on the role of citizens in the transition to a circular economy is not to be missed. To watch back, click HERE.

Let’s keep working towards a circular economy!
