The Charity Retail Ireland Awards celebrate the incredible work of charity retail teams as they support their causes, engage with their communities and promote reuse. 

This year’s awards include four new categories, recognising all who work in charity retail including new beginners and those who have made it their life’s work. We are also proud to include the Charity Shop of the Year Award, celebrating excellence at the highest level.

Every nominee will receive an emailed certificate quoting a line from their nomination. Shortlistees will receive a framed printed certificate and winners will receive a permanent trophy crafted by the team at the Rediscovery Centre.

When is the awards ceremony?

The ceremony will form part of our Charity Retail Impact Event, on November 11th from 10.30-4 at the Midlands Park Hotel. The event is free and will include lunch and refreshments. All shortlisted charities or individuals will be encouraged to attend, and you are of course welcome to book in now.

How does the nomination process work?

Nominating is simple. Anyone who works for a CRI member can nominate a colleague or shop via a simple form in one or all of the following categories.  

We are also proud to introduce the Charity Retail Ireland Lifetime Achievement Award, which will be judged by the Awards steering committee.

What will happen when?

  • Longlist: October 12th
  • Shortlist: October 19th
  • Awards ceremony: November 11th
